NanoFractional RF Skin Resurfacing

What is nanofractional radiofrequency skin resurfacing?

This highly advanced aesthetic treatment delivers radiofrequency heat causing micro-dermal wounds through the skin’s surface to initiate the skin’s natural repair mechanism. The process of healing causes an increase in collagen and elastin, resulting in smoother and youthful skin.

Who is a good candidate for this treatment?

Since this technology is radiofrequency-based, it is perfect for ALL skin tones and even sensitive skin. This treatment helps to correct sun-damage, scars, stretch marks, large pores, wrinkles, pigmentation, and rosacea. Even if you have minimal signs of aging, this treatment can be done on a lower setting to give you a beautiful glow and glass-like skin.

What is the downtime?

The downtime is very minimal compared to laser and CO2 treatments for resurfacing. You will experience redness and swelling for 1-3 days. So, you will be able to get back to your daily routine quickly after treatment. This is perfect for anyone who is too busy for the extended downtime that comes with invasive lasers and CO2 treatments.

How many treatments are recommended?

Typically, a series of 3 treatments is recommended about 4-6 weeks apart for maximum benefits. Thereafter, you can receive maintenance treatments once every 6 months.

Will it be painful?

Depending on the settings and how aggressive you want to be, there may be some slight discomfort during the treatment however we provide a very strong numbing cream prior to the treatment for about 20 minutes. Each treatment takes about 20-30minutes to perform.

How long will the results last?

This treatment can be for preventative aging or therapeutic. The results after each treatment will continue to improve over 1-2 months and are cumulative especially when a series of treatments are completed. Depending on one’s aging rate, maintenance treatments are recommended every 3-6 months afterward.
